David Smalley Sculpture
David Smalley has been creating sculpture for over 40 years. Most of his works are in the medium of direct welded metal; stainless steel, bronze and aluminium. Many of them are kinectic.
He was one of the first sculptors to embrace the computer as an essential tool in the creation of sculpture, and is now pioneering the use of rapid-prototyping technology in the creation of new works.
He has had over 50 solo, two-person and invitational shows in the United States, England and Japan.
Smalley is represented by galleries in Connecticut, New York and Florida and maintains studios in Connecticut and Florida.
